This tour lasts for 17 days and hence covers all the majors Forts and Palaces of Rajasthan that connects one with the ancient time of Rajasthan. These forts and Palaces of Rajasthan have a great history in itself and exploring these places wills anyone a mind blowing. Some of the wonderful places that you will explore in Rajasthan consist of Madhogarh, Jaipur, Chhatra Sagar, Udaipur, Rohet, Jaisalmer, Khimsar and Samode. Apart from this, you will also explore two other famous cities of India that are Agra and Delhi. Agra is famous for great monuments of love called Taj Mahal and other monuments of Mughals. Whereas in Delhi, you will find multi-cultures of India as people come here from all over the country.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01, Arrival in Delhi: Our representative will meet you at the airport and escort you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel and then take rest. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can just roam around Delhi or can enjoy the light and sound show program at the Red Fort.

A special dinner will be served at a famous restaurant of Delhi. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 02, Delhi Sightseeing: After breakfast, tour the monuments in Delhi. First visit the monuments of New Delhi--the India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, National Museum, Gallery of Modern Art, etc.

After lunch proceed towards Old Delhi for sightseeing. Visit the majestic Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Chandi Chowk market. Pay homage to the Father of Nation at the Gandhi Memorial at Raj Ghat. Thereafter you can explore the vibrant markets of Delhi.

Day 03, Delhi - Agra (203 kms- 4 hours drive): Rajasthan Fort and Palaces tour will take you to Agra, the city of Love. Enroute visit the Tomb of Emperor Akbar located at the edge of the road. Then drive again to Agra and on arrival check in at a hotel. After lunch visit the huge Agra Fort which was once the capital hub of the Mughal dynasty. Also visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb.

Visit the Agra markets to pick up some souvenirs. You can buy mini marble Taj at the UP Handicrafts Emporium.

Day 04, Agra – Madhogarh (150 hours-3 hours drive): At dawn, visit Taj Mahal. It takes almost three hours to explore the Taj from outer and inner side.

Then drive to Madhogarh village in Rajasthan. Enroute visit the Fatehpur Sikri, world heritage site which houses Mughal monuments. Continue drive again. On arrival take the hotel.

Late afternoon, visit the Tunga Fort of Madhogarh and then enjoy a village safari to explore the potters, carpenters and cobblers. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 05, Madhogarh – Jaipur (42 kms- 1 hour): Drive to the pink city. On arrival take the hotel.

Then visit the forts of Jaipur city. Jaipur houses two forts beside the Amber Fort. The forts you will tour today are the Nahargarh Fort and the Jaigarh fort known as Tiger Fort and Victory Fort respectively. The world’s largest Canon on Wheels is located in Victory Fort. A theme dinner will be arranged to you. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 06, Jaipur Sightseeing: In the early morning you will visit the Amber Fort, the most majestic forts in Jaipur city perched on a hillock. Explore the inner and outer architecture of the fort.

After lunch, visit the Hawa Mahal- Palace of winds, the City Palace, and Albert hall museum, the Jantar Mantar, the astronomic observatory. Explore also the Birla temple and Sisodia Bagh Garden, and Jawahar Nagar Cultural centre. Then shopping in Jaipur. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 07, Jaipur -Chhatra Sagar-(230 kms- 5.30 hours drive): Drive to Chhatra Sagar, a water reservoir dam located on a scenic village constructed in 1890 Thakur Chhatra Singh of Nimaj. On arrival you will be accommodated at a lakeside tent. Today explore the birdlife. The tent is maintained by the Nimaj family. You can get to savor only vegetarian dishes here.

After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 08, Chhatra Sagar– Udaipur (274 kms via Ranakpur-5.30 hours): Drive to Udaipur, the lake city of Rajasthan. Enroute tour the Ranakpur Jain temple famous for its carved architecture. On arrival take the hotel. Evening boat ride on the Lake Pichola.

After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 09, Udaipur Sightseeing: Your Udaipur sightseeing tour covers your visit to the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Sahelion-ki-Bari Garden. Then you can have your own choice at this romantic city. You can flock at the markets as Udaipur is famous for art and handicrafts.

After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 10, Udaipur–Rohet (280 kms-6 hours):The 10th day itinerary of Rajasthan Palaces tour, you will drive to Rohet village. On arrival take the hotel. After lunch, visit the Rohet Garh fort which has been converted into a heritage hotel. This fort is an example of the Rajput architecture.

After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11, Rohet Sightseeing: Today visit the Bishnoi village and other villages of Rohet. You will also spot desert animals at this village. Stay overnight at the Rohet hotel.

Day 12, Rohet – Jaisalmer: Drive to Jaisalmer and on arrival, take the hotel. Today explore the majestic Jaisalmer Fort and the Jain temples located inside the fort.

Day 13, Jaisalmer Sightseeing: Post breakfast, camel safari to explore the village life and also visit the havelis like Nathmalji, Patwon and Salim Singh. Tour the Desert Cultural Centre to have the best view of desert culture.

In the afternoon, proceed towards Sam sand dune village and have the view of the sunset on sand dunes. You can stay at a camel tent today. Folk dance and music programme in the sand dunes. Stay overnight at the camel tent.

Day 14, Jaisalmer–Khimsar (240 kms-5 hours):Check out the camel tent and drive to the hotel. After breakfast, drive to Khimsar village. En route visit the famous Jain temples of Ossian.

On arrival take the hotel. Then explore the Khimsar Fort and the villages. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 15, Khimsar – Samode: Post breakfast, drive to Samode located outskirt on the Jaipur city. On arrival take the hotel. Then visit the Samode Palace which has been converted into a Heritage Hotel. Also visit the havelis of Samode, the Samode Bagh Garden, and the old Sheograrh Fort.

Day 16, Samode–Delhi (225 kms-4.30 hours):Drive back to Delhi and on arrival, take the flight at the Delhi International Airport.
