Rajasthan is toured by thousands of tourists in a year for its heterogeneous culture.

Festival and Fairs of Rajasthan: The main attraction of the Rajasthan culture is indeed the vibrant fairs and festivals. The Pushkar Fair is known worldwide for its cattle fairs and uniqueness. There are lots of fairs and festivals celebrated in several times of the year. The main festivals of Rajasthan are Jaisalmer Desert festival, Gangaur festival, Teej festival, Mount Abu Summer festival, Jaipur elephant festival, etc.

Rajasthan Cuisine: The cuisine of Rajasthan is rich; some of the dishes have been influenced by the Mughlai cuisine. The distinct cuisine is Shikar meat, a famous cuisine of Rajputs. “Sule” –the smoked Rajasthan kebab is a delicious dish and the pure vegetarian cuisine of the Maheswari of Marwar are popular cuisines of the state. Bikaner Bhujia or sweets is also a part of Rajasthani cuisine.

Arts and Crafts of Rajasthan: The havelis and the decorated forts and palaces of the Rajput tell how rich the art and crafts work of Rajasthan. The village people are very creative and they produce lots of handicrafts things. The carpets, durries, paintings, home decors, costumes are all the parts of the arts and crafts. The Rajput kings patronized the artisans to create the best products; hence it is still a source of livelihood to a majority of the population. The art works are paintings, jewelry, pottery, wood carving, and stone carving while the main craft tradition includes hand block printing, tie and die textile, gems and stone and blue pottery.
