Gratifying desert land tour with glorious Taj is tour where travelers get to visit the desert land of Rajasthan along with capital city of India-New Delhi and also Agra. The first place to explore in this tour is Delhi where you will witness the multi-culture of India and also enjoy the busy markets and street food. The places of Rajasthan that you will visit in this tour include Mukundgarh, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Ranakpur, Udaipur, Kota, Jaipur and Bharatpur. Visiting these places would be an awesome experience for those who want to explore the true colors of colorful Rajasthan that is shown in their life-style, tradition, food and culture. In this tour, you will also get to visit Agra. The city that is famous for one of the seven wonders of the world- Taj Mahal and other great monuments of Mughal architecture.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 01, Arrival in Delhi: On arrival at the Delhi airport meet our representative. He will take you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed get ready for a half day sightseeing in Delhi.

Your half day tour covers sightseeing of Indian Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, National Museum, National Gallery of Modern Art, Lotus temple.

After a sumptuous dinner overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02, Delhi - Mukundgarh (250 kms-5 hours): After breakfast, you will set out the guided tour to Old Delhi. Your tour covers visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of Asia, then Red Fort and Chandni Chowk market. At Last drive to Raj Ghat and pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at his memorial.

Then check out the hotel and drive to next destination Mukundgarh, a village located in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. On arrival take the hotel. In the late afternoon, explore the Mukundgarh fort, Open Air Art Gallery, and other havelis. In the evening drive to Mandawa castle which is now a heritage hotel. The collections of the museum include armories, costumes of ancestors, cannons from 1820 ancient coins and many other interesting items. Have dinner at the heritage hotel and continue drive to your hotel.

Day 03, Mukundgarh – Bikaner (190 kms): Your Rajasthan Desert tour will take you to Bikaner today. On the way you will drive past the scenic landscapes of desert. Bikaner is the camel city of Rajasthan and the main attractions are the camel breeding farm, Bikaner Fort, Lallgarh Palace, the museum, and Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Rat temple.

On arrival take the hotel. After refreshment, go on a sightseeing tour. After dinner spend the night at the hotel.

Day 04, Bikaner - Jaisalmer (340 kms-6.30 hours): After breakfast you can visit the rat temple located at Deshnok village. Then continue drive to Jaisalmer, the golden city of Rajasthan. On reaching Jaisalmer today you will again drive to the Sam village to enjoy sunset view. Then you will be accommodated at a camel tent. Evening dinner and fold dance and music programme. Stay overnight at the camel tent.

Day 05, Jaisalmer Sightseeing: Check out the camel tent and continue drive to Jaisalmer city. The Golden Fort is the major attraction of the city which dominates the entire landscapes of the city. Today you will explore the Fort and the havelis of Jaisalmer. The Jaisalmer Fort houses Jain temples inside it. Also tour the Desert Culture and Museum centre.

In the evening enjoy folk dance and music. After dinner stay overnight.

Day 06, Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (285 kms-6 hours): Have breakfast and then get ready for your next drive to Jodhpur, the blue city of Rajasthan. On arrival take the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can visit the local art and crafts centre to explore the handicrafts.

Jodhpur is called the enigmatic city of Rajasthan. Jodhpur has a rich history of polo. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 07, Jodhpur Sightseeing: Post breakfast tour Jodhpur. This was once the capital of the Marwar kingdom of the Rajputs. The main attractions are Mehrangarh Fort Jaswant Thada, a striking marble cenotaph, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and Umaid Public gardens. Umaid Bhawan is the largest private residences in the world and this has been now converted into a heritage hotel. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08,Jodhpur - Ranakpur (180 kms-4 hours): Post breakfast, drive to Ranakpur. On arrival take the hotel. Ranakpur is known worldwide for its Jain temples which date back to the 15th century.

The temple complex is covering a basement of 48, 000 sq. feet area. The Ranakpur temples are known for unique carved architecture. After dinner stay overnight.

Day 09, Ranakpur - Udaipur (98 kms- 2hours drive): Get up at your own time and continue drive to Udaipur, the lake city of Rajasthan. Udaipur is also called the most romantic city in India. On arrival take the hotel.

Evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. The entire environ will thrill you. You will see the backdrop of Aravalli Mountains and the palaces located on the bank of the lake. A lip-smacking dinner will be served to you.

Day 10, Udaipur Sightseeing: After breakfast visit the City Palace and its museum, Jagdish temple, Shaelion Ki Bari (Queen's resort for their friends) Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (Folk Art Museum) and the Pratap Memorial.

You can buy some handicrafts at the markets. Udaipur is rich in art and crafts. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 11, Udaipur – Chittorgarh: After breakfast proceed towards Chittorgarh known for its majestic fort which covers a huge area. Chittorgarh Fort is the largest fort in India which houses palaces, temples and towers. The main attractions are the Rana Kumbha Palace and the Padmini Palace. A museum is located inside the fort which houses royal artifacts. Victory Tower also catches the attraction of the tourists.

In the evening you can enjoy light and sound show program which dramatizes the story related to victory of the Fort. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 12, Chittorgarh - Kota (158 kms-3 hours): After breakfast, drive to Kota, an industrial city of Rajasthan which houses some historical monuments and ruins. On arrival take the hotel. In the afternoon visit the City Palace & Brij Vilas museum, Gagron Fort and the ancient temple of Chandrabhaga situated on the bank of river Chandravati. Also explore the textile production centre in Kota. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 13, Kota - Jaipur (240 kms-5 hours): After breakfast, proceed to Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. On arrival take the hotel. In the afternoon visit the City Palace, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum. The architecture of the City Place blends the Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture.

A theme dinner will be served to you in the evening. After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 14, Jaipur Sightseeing: After breakfast, drive to Amber Fort that is located on a hill. Enjoy elephant ride to the fort. Also explore Jaigarh and Nahargarh Fort. Then you will return to the city and visit the observatory Jantar Mantar, the Hawa Mahal, a stunning five-storey building of red sandstone. In every nook and corner of the city you will see pink hues.

After dinner, stay overnight.

Day 15, Jaipur - Bharatpur (176 kms-3.30 hours): Early morning you will depart for Bharatpur which houses the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Enroute tour the deserted Mughal capital Fatehpur Sikri. The main attractions are elaborate palaces, formal courtyards, tombs and a great mosque.

Again continue drive Bharatpur. Take your jungle hotel. In the afternoon go on a bird safari tour. Explore also the Bharatpur city. After dinner, overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 16, Bharatpur – Agra: Drive to Agra. On reaching take the hotel. Have lunch. Then tour the Agra Fort and It mad- Ud- Daula's Tomb. Then at the sunset time explore the majestic Taj Mahal which draws millions of tourists from all over the world. Taj Mahal was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal.

You can go on a shopping spree in Agra as the markets of Agra have antique things with various handicrafts. After a Mughlai dinner, stay overnight.

Day 17, Agra - Delhi – Departure: In the early morning, drive to Delhi and on arrival transfer to the airport.
