Mukundgarh is a beautiful village located near Mandawa town of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Travel Attractions at Mukundgarh:

Open Air Art Gallery: The motifs of painted havelis are preserved at the Open Air Art Gallery. The masterpieces of the artisans from the period of 1750 to 1930 are conserved here. One must explore this gallery while visiting Mukundgarh or Mandawa.

Jhunjhunwala Haveli : Jhunjhunu Haveli is the major attraction at Mukundgarh village for the story of the Lord Krishna and his friend Sukhdev. The Haveli is decorated with wall paintings. The windows are wonderfully carved and beautiful. Fresco adorns the gateways, parapets, ceiling and courtyard walls of the Jhunjhunu Haveli.

Excursions from Mukundgarh:

Jhunjhunu: The largest town in Shekhawati region, Jhunjhunu was established by the Kaimkhani Nawabs. The main attractions are Bihariji temple, the Modi temple, Khetri Mahal.

Dundlod: Dundlod is located near Mukundgarh village, the main tour attractions are the havelis, forts, palaces and the Satyanarayan temple.

Sikar: Sikar was once a rich state of the Rajputs. The main attractions are fresco-adorned temples, like Raghunath, Gopinath and Madan Mohan temples. Sikar also houses Jubilee Hall, Biwani Haveli, Sodhani Haveli and the temples of Jains.
