Festival and Fairs: During daytimes in summer the climate is hot. So before planning your tour during the fairs and festival keep mind about the season and climate condition.

Wildlife Sanctuary: The major wildlife attractions of Rajasthan are Bharatpur National Park, Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary, Mount Abu Sanctuary, Keoladeo National Sanctuary, Ranthambore and Sariska Tiger Reserve. Before a jungle safari take precaution before and also carry insect repellent.

Rajasthan Hotels: You will get all kinds of hotels in Rajasthan from five star heritage hotels to budget accommodation.

Shopping: Always bargain at the local shops. You can shop at the Govt. approved emporiums.

Event calendar: Carry an event calendar and know the exact date of the events and location as well.

Transportation: Always have the idea of the local transport and correct cost.

  • Avoid the stranger who follows you
  • Utilize chains to secure your luggage
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Keep medical handy kit
  • Don’t eat any food offered by a stranger
  • Return to accommodation before dark 

More Tips:

  • Take auto rickshaws from pre paid kiosk
  • Purchase from reputed or recognized shops.
  • Take the bill for any purchase and Ensure RST/CST registration numbers in a corner of the bill sheet.
  • Payments made by credit cards must have the amount mentioned in words and numerical too
  • Take only authorized paying guest accommodation
  • Respect the local culture and tradition while taking photographs
